A little rough around the edges at some spots, like friendly NPCs not attacking or refusing to use healing effects. But overall very fun to play! One thing I don't quite get, is it possible to solve more than one riddle?

There are definitely some issues with the wizard ai. Right now they overvalue applying status effects and don't necessarily take into account what the status effect does. I wanted to update this near the end of development, but the way the game works, the amount of exp your wizard earns is tied to the 'value' (how much damage, healing and status effects applied) of the spell they used. So I was hesitant to make the status effects worth less as it would effect the entire level progression and I'd have to do multiple more test rounds. I might update this someday.
Beyond that, 'dumbness' is a part of the game engine. Ideally, wizards with higher 'Wisdom' stats will be better at finding good moves to make. I wanted to keep the game running quickly, so wizards don't look at all of their possible moves. They randomly choose a number of possible moves to look at based on their wisdom stat, evaluate those moves and choose. I recently did lower this value to help performance issues. I guess there's a reason some of those old tactical RPGs have the enemy turns take so long, haha.
And it's just the one riddle, was meant to be a joke but it seems to be the consensus that it is confusing over funny. Thanks for playing! :)
Lagged so bad it was unplayable.
It must be a bug, the final version is not gonna be a web game, I believe it is a browser related error for some people.
Actually in love with this. Gonna follow this for sure. One small bug - the music cut out completely after my first run.
I think this issue should have been fixed in version 0.3.3
Glad you love it :)
Definitely wishlisting this one! Can't wait to see where it goes!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :]
Really interesting mechanics, although I did get softlocked a few times. Also couldn't figure out how to save. I also think that the reward for finding all the "Secrets" should be swapped with the Teleportation upgrade, which made the game too easy.
Game auto-saves after each action. I changed "LOAD SAVE" button to "TRY AGAIN" so you don't have to think about saving at all.
Pretty good! Tiny critique, would love a back button for the level screens.
Good idea!
Level 13 is just... not very fun. There's no way around it. The timing is way too precise, exacerbated by the fact that hitboxes are wonky and the physics isn't quite polished. You also can't flip in mid air or bump things in mid air which only exacerbates the frustration. Would be a lot better without that level included or with some mechanics tweaked to make it more doable, but overall not bad. Could also use some music.
EDIT: After the changes, significantly better! Kudos!
Thank you for the feedback, an update has been released with incremental fixes and tweaks
Apologies for the inconvenience :)
Very nostalgic and a fun new twist at the same time, kudos!
Exactly what we were going for!
Thanks so much for checking it out :)
